Greencastle Borough Council has enacted Ordinance 2026-02 establishing new no parking restrictions around the recently installed four-way stop at S. Washington Street and Leitersburg Street.
These restrictions are intended to improve visibility at the intersection and help keep the stop signs and approaching traffic clearly visible to drivers.
The new no parking areas are the following:
- S. Washington Street – West side from Leitersburg Street north for 150 feet
- Leitersburg Street – Both sides from S. Washington Street west for 95 feet
- Leitersburg Street – North side from S. Washington Street east for 60 feet

No parking signs will be installed within the next week, and the restrictions will be enforced once the signs are in place.
