Public Facilities Meeting Cancelled
The Public Facilities Committee meeting scheduled for December 15th has been cancelled.
Relining and Point Work Underway
Beginning September 28, Mr. Rehab will be working around the borough to complete relining and point repair work on sections of S. Carlisle, S. Jefferson, S. Cedar Lane, and N. Allison streets, and Maple Avenue. Motorists should use caution in and around these areas during construction.
WPP Trimming Work Underway in Borough
West Penn Power (WPP) is doing routine tree work along Linden Avenue and Spring Grove Avenue the week of September 20. The following week WPP will continue vegetation management on Baltimore Street, weather permitting. Affected residents have been notified but all area residents are encouraged to be aware of possible traffic impacts.
Sewer Main Repair Starting September 14; Expect Delays
Beginning Tuesday, September 14, South Jefferson Street will be closed in the area of W. Baltimore and W. Spruce streets for a sewer line replacement. Work will be completed by T. Byers and may take up to three days to complete. Please drive with caution in and around the construction zone and be prepared for delays.
