South Ridge Avenue ADA Curb Ramp Construction

The Borough of Greencastle will be finalizing a grant funded project to install ADA curb ramps at the intersections of Rowe Avenue & S. Ridge Avenue and Addison Avenue & S. Ridge Avenue. The curb ramps on the west side of S. Ridge Avenue will be completed with this portion of the project. Work is expected to be done by the end of November barring any delays.

Residents are asked to be aware of potential traffic delays, construction workers, and pedestrians in this area.

Budget Meeting and Council Workshop Rescheduled

The 2023 budget meeting originally scheduled for October 19 has been rescheduled for Monday, October 24, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. Similarly, the Council Workshop originally scheduled for October 24, has been rescheduled for Monday, October 31, at 7 p.m. Anyone with questions can contact the Borough at 717-597-7143 or email office@greencastlepa.gov.

Franklin County Residents Urged to Participate in Comprehensive Plan Survey

Residents are being asked to participate in a survey for the Franklin County Comprehensive Plan. Using the links below, the public can submit their comments and responses, as well as participate in Open House events to discuss the future of Franklin County.

We are excited to let you all know that the survey for the Comprehensive Plan is now available at www.surveymonkey.com/r/imaginefranklin2035. Please take a few minutes to complete the online survey before November 11th. Also, please be sure to share the survey with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers – anyone who has a stake in the future of our county.
