Budget Meeting and Council Workshop Rescheduled
The 2023 budget meeting originally scheduled for October 19 has been rescheduled for Monday, October 24, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. Similarly, the Council Workshop originally scheduled for October 24, has been rescheduled for Monday, October 31, at 7 p.m. Anyone with questions can contact the Borough at 717-597-7143 or email office@greencastlepa.gov.
Franklin County Residents Urged to Participate in Comprehensive Plan Survey
Residents are being asked to participate in a survey for the Franklin County Comprehensive Plan. Using the links below, the public can submit their comments and responses, as well as participate in Open House events to discuss the future of Franklin County.
We are excited to let you all know that the survey for the Comprehensive Plan is now available at www.surveymonkey.com/r/imaginefranklin2035. Please take a few minutes to complete the online survey before November 11th. Also, please be sure to share the survey with your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers – anyone who has a stake in the future of our county.
In addition to the survey, residents and stakeholders may also provide feedback by attending public open houses later this month. For a full list of upcoming open houses, visit https://compplan.franklincountypa.gov.

Bids Soughts for ADA Curb Ramp Replacements
An invitation to bid is being solicited through the Borough of Greencastle for ADA curb ramp replacements on S. Ridge Avenue. Bids are being accepted at the Borough office, 60 N. Washington Street, through October 18, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at which time bids will be opened and read publically.
